The Janssen single-dose coronavirus vaccine has been approved for use in the UK by regulator the MHRA.
The Janssen vaccine is likely to be available later this year and could be used as a booster vaccine ahead of the winter period.
It is the fourth vaccine to be approved for use in the United Kingdom alongside Pfizer, Oxford-AstraZeneca and Moderna.
