Herefordshire Council’s Councillors have this afternoon voted in favour of the 2023/24 budget that will see Council Tax increase by 4.99%.
The meeting, which took place at Plough Lane in Herefordshire commenced at just after 10am and was completed at around 2pm. In the vote, a total of 24 councillors supported the budget and an increase in Council Tax of 4.99%. 22 councillors voted against the budget and the council tax increase and one councillor abstained.
