Emergency services have been called to an incident on the Malvern Hills this afternoon.

West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are all at the scene.

The Air Ambulance has also been called.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:

“Four Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – two from Malvern and one each from Ledbury and Droitwich Fire Stations – plus the Service drone from Wyre Forest and Service’s search and rescue dog were called at 12:04 on 16 May to a rescue from height at Black Hill, Malvern.

“Police and Ambulance are also in attendance, as is the air ambulance.

“A male casualty has been carried down from a steep bank on a stretcher and handed over to the care of the ambulance service.

“Crews are still at the scene with the incident ongoing.”
