Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed that a person was rescued from the River Wye in Hereford this morning.
Emergency services were called to the River Wye in Hereford at around 2.20am to reports that a person had entered the water.
A casualty had fallen down the river embankment and ended up in the river.
The casualty was able to get to a nearby boat, where fire crews then rescued the casualty.
The casualty was then assessed by the emergency services.
