Update: Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (2.15pm)
”A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Hereford Fire Station was called at 13:45 on 7 December to make vehicles safe after an RTC at a petrol station in Barton Yard, Hereford.
“The RTC involved two vehicles which were both on all four wheels. There were no persons trapped and both vehicles were made safe by fire service personnel.
“One male casualty in his 80s had self-extricated from his vehicle with help from ambulance staff.
“Police and ambulance were both in attendance and the petrol station was closed. The incident was marked as stop at 13:59.”
Emergency services are currently responding to an incident at Sainsbury’s Petrol Station in Hereford.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are in attendance alongside West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Crews arrived at the scene at around 1.45pm this afternoon.
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area for the time being.
