Prime Minister Boris Johnson will host a COVID-19 Press Conference this evening as rumours over the easing of lockdown persist.
The Prime Minister will be joined by England’s chief medical officer Professor Chris Whitty and NHS chief executive Sir Simon Stevens. The Press Conference is set to take place at 5pm this evening.
Further details on the potential easing of lockdown restrictions across England are expected to be announced early next week, with schools and non-essential retail expected to be some of the first sectors allowed to open next month.
