Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced that Coronavirus lockdown restrictions are set to be lifted on 19th July in England.
Boris Johnson has said that despite the fact we may see 50,000 cases a day by 19th July, the reason for unlocking is the successful vaccine rollout.
There will be no limits on social contact from 19th July and all remaining businesses, including nightclubs will be allowed to open. The legal requirement to wear a face mask will also be removed.
Fully vaccinated people will no longer have to self-isolate if a contact tests positive.
