A shop is to remain closed today, following reports of a security incident.
Morrisons Daily, located on Hereford Road in Abergavenny, is expected to remain closed for the remainder of today.
In a post on Abergavenny Voice, a staff member shared an update:
“Unfortunately, due to a security incident, Morrisons Daily, Mardy, NP76LE will be closed today, and unknown when we will reopen due to awaiting specialists.
“This includes the post office and all online services as it is unsafe to carry out any duties in store until thoroughly sorted and cleaned throughout.
“We are very sorry for the inconvenience this may cause and we thank you for your patience.
“I will update this post as soon as we get the go ahead to reopen the doors.”
