Herefordshire’s COVID-19 infection rate remains relatively low, despite one area of the county having the highest infection rate in England. The sharp rise would indicate a possible outbreak at a workplace/education facility but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Infection rates in Lugwardine, Withington & Moreton on Lugg have risen sharply by 800%, with 36 new cases recorded in the seven days ending 27th April, meaning that the area now has an infection rate of over 465 cases per 100,000 population.
