In the Gallery
ARHITECTURE & POETRY

Fittingly for a town that straddles the borderlands, this exhibition, the first of its kind to link these two seemingly disparate artforms, combines the contributions of architects, poets, artists and designers from Wales, England , Ireland and Scotland.
In the café:
Golden Valley Faces
Photographs by Richard Jenkins
Born in 1890 on a farm just 10 miles from Hay, Richard Jenkins became a brilliant pioneering photographer. He was self taught and recorded the life of his friends and neighbours going around their daily life. Miraculously nearly a thousand of his glass-plate images survived decades of neglect and is now recognised as a remarkable record of life in rural Herefordshire at the start of the 20th century.
Tickets can be booked via the website and all of our events can be found on www.haycastletrust.org
