The timings have been revealed for the Christmas Tractor Road Run that will pass through Hereford later today.

Hamish Grundy, one of the organisers of the event that will take place on Wednesday 21st December said:

“Hi all, the sleigh is nearing completion and we now have a route organised. We will meet at Bartestree Village Hall at 3.30 and it will cost £10 to enter.

“We will depart from there at 3.45/4pm. We will head to Withington first, then Lugwardine and then we will head up to Tupsley where we will turn left at the Cock of Tupsley and go past the school.

“We will then follow the road through and come back out on the Ledbury Road and head towards the Tesco filling station and up towards the college. We will then head down Aylestone Hill and into town. We will travel through town then to the Asda Roundabout where we will go back into town and turn left after the bridge and up past the Crematorium.

“We will turn right at the roundabout and drop down to Whitecross and head out to B&Q before turning left at the roundabout on Roman Road and will then head towards the cattle market where we will divert left towards the Co Op then back up to the main road.

“We will finish at the cattle market at around 7pm where all are welcome. The cafe will kindly be open for food and drinks for all so please support this if you can.

“The run in total will be around 16 miles so if you don’t hear us you will definitely see us!

“We look forward to seeing you all and raising some money.”
