A number of charities in Herefordshire have received a huge boost after £7,500 was raised at The Barrels Music Festival over the Bank Holiday weekend.
A post on The Barrels Facebook page said:
“Music festival done & dusted!! £7500 given away to St Michael’s Hospice, Born Sleeping Appeal, Hereford Food Bank, Northolme Community Centre and The Mayor’s Charity. £1500 was given to each.
“This is an amazing amount as this is all money taken on the gate and in the kitchen. Thank you all so much for your generosity this weekend.
“Please thank the staff, volunteers and most importantly yourselves for making this happen. Cheers!”
