Ashberry Healthcare is delighted to announce that The Weir Nursing Home has been rated “Good” in all areas by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following a recent inspection.
This recognition comes just months after Ashberry Healthcare became the proud owner of The Weir in January 2025. To achieve such a strong outcome so early on is a testament to the professionalism, dedication, and compassion of the entire team.
The CQC inspection assessed key areas including safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness, and leadership. Achieving “Good” across every category highlights the commitment shown by colleagues at every level – from frontline carers and nurses to managers, support staff, and senior leadership.
