Many of you will know Mason for his incredible fundraising efforts, where he has been busy climbing mountains and hills across the United Kingdom to raise money for charity, however his achievement this time is slightly different, but still involves heights and climbing!
Mason, a pupil at St Francis Xavier’s Primary School in Hereford secured second place in the Youth Climbing Series (South West North Region) after putting on an amazing performance at the Green Spider Climbing Centre in Hereford.
A post on the Mason’s Mountains Adventures Facebook page said:
“YCS (Youth climbing series )2021 South west north region Youth E 2nd place overall. What a ride. We’ve had plenty of ups and a few downs but overall he’s enjoyed it for his first ever competition.
“Thank you to everyone who’s supported and pointed us in the right direction and made it possible. It’s been a blast but he’s going to keep training and keep progressing to the next level. Thank you everybody.”
