A planning application has been submitted to turn a Hereford eyesore into residential apartments, with green infrastructure in place.
The planning application details plans to turn the former Sportsman pub land at Widemarsh Common in Hereford, into a three storey apartment building.
The plans will be welcomed by many in the local area, with the currently empty area of land very much an eyesore since the former pub suffered a serious fire a number of years ago and was subsequently knocked down.
The planning application states the following:
“Proposed three storey apartment building to provide six residential apartments along with associate infrastructure including cycle store, bin store, parking and access, the creation of passing bays, landscaping, the provision of amenity space, and green infrastructure.”
The application has been submitted to Herefordshire Council by agent Berrys on behalf of Reservoir Homes Ltd.
People have until 15th July to comment on the proposed plans before the council makes a decision. You can find out more details on this and other planning applications by visiting the Herefordshire Council Planning site and searching for planning application reference – P211931/F
