A Hereford school has raised over £1,000 today as it turned blue in memory of a former pupil.
In April 2021 Kaja was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour, tragically Kaja passed away just a month later, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 10 years old.

Today we wore blue to remember Kaja as this was her favourite colour. Kindness was the focus of the day as this was her greatest attribute. Messages, written by the children, have been hung on the fence to spread kindness to all.
The school is completely overwhelmed by the generosity of your donations and have raised an amazing £1000. This will go towards a memorial for Kaja – a place in school where she will always be remembered.
