Odeon will reopen its cinema at the Old Market in Hereford tomorrow (Friday 21st) and they will have a number of measures in place to ensure the safety of all those visiting.

A press release from Odeon says: “We are delighted to announce this ODEON will reopen its doors from 21st August, and you can book tickets now. We’ve made lots of changes to create a new safer cinema experience for you, and we look forward to welcoming you back. These measures will be in place in our cinemas for your safety, well being and enjoyment.

“Due to a technical issue, our lift is currently out of order. This will affect wheelchair access to all screens. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

Some of the measures in place include:

No cash (contactless limit increased)

Customers advised to book online

Staggered film times

Pre packaged food and drinks will be available for purchase

Odeon said: “Please wear a suitable face covering when you visit our cinemas, in line with government guidelines.

“When seated in the auditorium you will be socially distant from other guests, and you may remove your face covering to enjoy food and drinks.
