Happy Retirement to Trish Maddox who has worked at Boots UK in Hereford for 50 years and retires on Saturday!
Trish has earned the right to put her feet up and she had a party with colleagues and ex colleagues earlier today.
Trish started at Ledbury Boots and became part of the leadership team at Hereford.
Trish told Matt Healey from Your Herefordshire:
“Working at boots has been a massive chunk of my life.
“I’ll still be popping in. An amazing journey and I’ve made loads of friends. Watching staff come in shy and no confidence and then watching them grow as people has been so rewarding.
“I’ll be spending my retirement travelling around in our camper-van.”
Assistant Manager Gail Bradbury thanked Trish for her hard work by saying:
“She’s been a Mum to us all. She’s like the matriach, she’s been a really good ambassador to Boots and I am sorry to see my partner in crime leaving.”
