One of St Michael’s Hospice’s Trustees is embarking on a fundraising drive after being diagnosed with prostate cancer.

David Hammond hopes to raise at least £10,000 in the next fortnight, to be split between St Michael’s and Prostate Cancer UK.

His adventures include a road trip with his family to Paris next Saturday where his beloved Liverpool FC face Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final.

The “mad two weeks” will also include golf days, but must finish by 6th June when he begins chemotherapy.
