James Morris will be walking an incredible 72 miles from Porthcawl to Hereford to raise money for Afghanaid over the Bank Holiday weekend. He’s already raised an impressive £360!
James posted on his GoFundMe page saying:
I’m raising money in aid of Afghanaid and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
Over two days (30th and 31st of August) I will be walking from Porthcawl to Hereford; a distance of 72 miles in an effort to raise much needed funds for this great charity. Any donations will be greatly appreciated no matter how small.
For almost 40 years, Afghanaid has worked alongside some of the poorest and most rural communities in Afghanistan to rebuild basic services, improve agriculture and other livelihoods, strengthen the rights of women and children, and, perhaps most importantly at present, respond to the humanitarian emergency currently taking place across Afghanistan.
Despite many persisting challenges, Afghanaid will continue to make life better for over 1,300,000 Afghans in 2021.
