Could Herefordshire be set to see a white Easter this year? Temperatures look set to plummet over the weekend with it feeling more like Easter than Spring.
Here’s what Bryan Hicks from Herefordshire Weather Watch is predicting:
Saturday – Another cold start and cloudy. However it will turn into a fine dry day with some sunny spells and highs of 10c with a breeze.
Easter Sunday – Frosty start for most with temperatures at freezing or just above. Sunday will remain mostly dry with plenty of sunny spells with a risk of few showers pushing in during late evening as the cold northernly air starts to dig in. Highs of 13c with a cool breeze.
Bank Holiday Monday – Freezing start with cold winds. Monday morning will remain cold with a few wintry showers pushing in through the afternoon and evening with highs of 6c with a bitter cold wind. (Still some uncertainty on the location of snow showers at this stage but snow and hail very much possible) Monday evening temperatures will fall away once again with a few flakes on snow in some areas.
**Please note, no significant snow is expected**
