It’s been an incredible opening week for the Herefordshire Scrap Store & Resource Centre.

They’ve had hundreds of visitors purchasing preloved items at very low prices, which in turn, helps prevent these items from ending up in landfill.

Andrew Wood from the Herefordshire Community Recycling and Reuse group said:

“Due to demand we are open this Saturday from 9am to 12pm at Unit 4 Ravenswood Court Rotherwas HR26JX.

“The Herefordshire Scrap Store and Resource Centre has had a phenomenal first week. Never in our planning did we expect to have the response we have had from you all, the need for this facility is now obvious so thank you to everyone who has been down to see the store.

“I’ve put a list up of items wanted on the Herefordshire Community Recycling & Reuse Group, if you can help with any of those items you can drop off at either Rotherwas or the Pavilion (Widemarsh Common) morning.

“If you are a school, brownie group, children’s nursery or any other group we can open a monthly account for you on receipt of our completed application form.

“Thank-you to everyone, helpers and browsers.”
