Herefordshire Council is offering FREE Easter activities to children eligible for benefit related free school meals thanks to funding from the Department for Education.
The programme is free for all school aged children 4 to 16 (reception to Year 11), who are eligible for benefit related free school meals. During the Easter holidays, there will be a fantastic range of exciting indoor and outdoor activities to choose from, including stand-up paddle boarding, circus skills, martial arts, street dance, football, arts and crafts (plus much more!). There will also be a healthy meal on offer at every session attended.
If your child is school aged 4 to 16 (reception to Year 11) and eligible for benefit related free school meals, they’ll be able to attend the different activities. If you are not sure, please contact your child’s school to check.
You can book up to 16 hours of activities per child over the Easter holidays, this can either be the same activity or it could be an opportunity to try a selection of new activities. At each session a healthy meal will also be provided – so no need to send a packed lunch.
