It was a beautiful morning yesterday and full of enthusiasm for brightening up this corner of Hereford, several groups came together and worked hard to make the area of land next to Morrisons, a much more welcoming view for visitors and local residents.
“The team worked really hard digging holes and planting loads of plants. It looks great already but give it a couple of years and it will look fabulous” said Emma, one of the volunteers involved.
Emma from the Hereford Community Clean Up Group added:
“A big thank you to the Balfour Team, Ross Planning and Planting team, Hereford BID, HCCUG volunteers and of course Hereford in Bloom. A big thank you to Morrisons who provided all the volunteers with a well deserved hot drink. Mulch will be added to finish off the project next week. Well done all, fabulous job done.”
