Father of five children Dan Tyler was recently seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Hereford.

His Partner Rosie Pritchard has shared the following message:

“Hello, my name is Rosie. This is our last resort but I am reaching out in hope of support.

“So I ask could you please take a moment just to read our story.

“I am the mother of 5 children all under the age of 11.

“My partner Dan has been critically injured in a motorcycle accident. This was no fault of his own.

“He has been hospitalised and will be bed bound for months due to the undue care and attention of a driver. Dan is the most amazing hard working guy you could ever meet.

“He works every hour given to provide for our family and he still manages to be the most hands on dad and partner, supporting me and the kids in every way possible.

“Dan would move heaven and earth to help anyone out and he is the kindest soul there is. This accident is not only keeping him from us but it is financially crippling our family.

“Dan loved his biking in his words “it’s in his DNA”. The heartbreak of not being able to bike again is a burden that will weigh heavy upon him.

“All I ask is if you could help us out even the slightest bit just to ease the financial burden and the stress off of our family we’d be eternally grateful. Even if you aren’t able to donate please could you share this post as it would mean the world.

“The funds would be used to keep a roof above our heads keep our bills paid and our children fed. Also to help pay for the recovery process and the travel expenses to and from the hospitals so our children can see their dad as much as they can.

“Dan is the kind of guy that regardless of the damage he will do to himself he will do everything he can to provide for me and our family I just want to do anything I can to keep him from having to push himself too far.

“I do work myself but with 5 children my income just isn’t enough to cover everything. Thank you again for your time reading this. As mentioned even if you can’t donate please could you share this.

“For all road users please remember. Think Bike. I wouldn’t wish that phone call upon anyone.

“Any donations that are left over once Dan is back on his feet we will be donating to the air ambulance charity because we are eternally grateful for their services. Without them I’d hate to think what the outcome would have been.”
