Pupils from Broadlands Primary School in Hereford took part in a Reindeer Run last week to raise money for St Michael’s Hospice.

Deputy Head Robert Kay said: “We were really pleased to be able to support St Michael’s Hospice in their Reindeer Run this year. We know it’s a difficult time of year for everyone so we were amazed by the generosity of our families. We’ve already collected over £600 and hope to hit the £1000 mark next week once everyone has brought their sponsorship money back into school. It’s great to be able to support the local community and we are really proud of our children for the effort they put in raising money but also on the day doing the run; some of our children completed 40 laps of the school playground.”
