Taylor Wimpey South Wales has recently sponsored t-shirts for a competition held at local climbing centre, Boulder Barn in Hereford.
Boulder Barn was originally founded in 1991 by the late J H “Brummie” Stokes, MBE BEM, ex-SAS and Everest Summiteer and his wife Lynn Stokes MBE.
They offer affordable climbing for the local community and help the disadvantaged enjoy the challenge of adventurous activities including off-site activities for their target groups.
Boulder Barn is a part of the registered charity, Taste for Adventure, and all profits go back to help fund their charitable work.
Sam Stokes, Head Coach at Boulder Barn, said: “We are so grateful to Taylor Wimpey for its generous donation towards our competition t-shirts.
“This is a fantastic event and inspires great community spirit, so not only will everyone have fun and build their climbing skills but they will look good in their new t-shirts doing it.”
Danielle Heard, Sales, Marketing and Customer Services Director at Taylor Wimpey South Wales, commented: “We are delighted to support Boulder Barn. Being able to help local clubs and organisations that surround our developments means a lot to us and it’s great to know that we are helping to make a difference to the lives of people in local communities.”
