A North Herefordshire pub which has been closed since June 2025 will reopen on the 1st August with a brand new team in charge. A Facebook post on the Castle Inn in Wigmore’s page reads
“Big news for The Castle Inn, Wigmore
We’re excited to welcome new landlords, Gemma and Andrew (Legs), who’ll be officially re opening on 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭, 𝟒𝐩𝐦
So come join them for a drink or two a week today! They also have RJ’s Smokeshack with them for the evening to cook for you all
A bit about our new landlords – Legs knows his way around a pub – with over 20 years at The Grove, co-running IPL Sports Bar and being part of Inn Pub Leisure (who supply the games room gear), he’s no stranger to The Castle. Now, he’s ready to dive in with his fiancée Gemma, who, while new to running pubs, is beyond excited for this opportunity and we know she’ll be amazing.
