To commemorate this milestone the home hosted a splendid black-tie event, welcoming residents, staff, families, and esteemed guests to join in the festivities.
The anniversary celebration was a testament to a decade of dedicated service, a commitment to enriching the lives of our residents, and the unwavering compassion that defines Gwen Walford. It was an afternoon of pure elegance, where guests came together to pay tribute to the remarkable journey and growth over the past ten years.
The event featured delectable canapes and a sumptuous cake skilfully crafted by the home’s talented kitchen team, accompanied by glasses of sparkling bubbles to toast to the years gone by and the future ahead. Adding to the ambiance of the occasion was the enchanting music of talented harpist, Lizzy Hart, whose melodies filled the air with grace and mesmerised guests.
The black-tie affair provided an opportunity for residents, staff, and guests to reminisce on cherished memories, celebrate achievements, and express gratitude for the dedication of the care home team.
