The season for celebrating is here! Explore new stores and join the summer’s most stylish launch.
When is the opening?
It’s official. The Cotswold Designer Outlet is delighted to announce the date of the opening period, starting on Wednesday 16th July, with an array of exclusive events and offers for guests to enjoy and experience at the UK’s newest retail destination, extended over a dedicated two weeks this July.
Doors will open from 10am to unveil over 50 newly built retail stores and contemporary eateries, with a range of opportunities for everyone to get involved in during Preview Week and beyond.
From Cotswold Designer Outlet:
What brands will be there?
Some additions to the lineup have been announced, with fashion retailers Reiss, Hobbs, and Jack & Jones joining along with The North Face and The Body Shop, adding to an already impressive retail offering.
They join a hand-picked selection of curated stores, with prestigious brands including BOSS, Levi’s, adidas, Sweaty Betty, and Rituals.
Alongside the internationally renowned retailers, there will also be local businesses showcased including KNEAD Bakery and The Patisserie Box, promoting locally made goods and tasty treats.
Visitors will also be able to refresh with a range of eateries including Five Guys, Wagamama, Zizzi, Pret A Manger, Caffé Nero and 200 Degrees.
We’ve designed Cotswolds Designer Outlet with the whole family in mind and features both indoor and outdoor play areas, accessible family changing facilities and a dedicated approach to pooches, with a wild walk meadow and even a dog stick library!
What can I expect during Preview Week?
Each retailer will be hosting extra-special in-store launch activities for everyone over the launch period to truly experience all the individual and unique brands on opening.
During the opening week (Wednesday 16th to Sunday 20th July), guests can enjoy an unparalleled retail experience, with the mall hosting a series of performances by well-known local entertainers, from music to magic and kids crafting to spontaneous acts of kindness across the outlet, gifting various items and vouchers to visiting shoppers.
There is so much on offer in the initial few weeks, with a brand trail helping visitors to explore each of the new stores, plus there’s even a giant doodle wall to keep children entertained and a doggy selfie station.
The excitement is building, and the opening period will have something for everyone to enjoy, on two legs or four.

You’ll find water bowls dotted across the centre, ensuring your companions stay refreshed while you browse. It’s our small way of keeping tails wagging.
Support dogs, including guide and emotional support dogs, are granted full access throughout the outlet. We are proud to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for guests and their canine companions.
Following quickly on the heels of the first brands announced earlier this month, news of the latest commitment from Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger comes as retailers and operators commence the important shop-fitting phase of the development ahead of its summer opening.
Global fashion label BOSS was announced earlier this month, alongside fashion, athleisure, beauty and homewares brands such as Marks & Spencer, Adidas, Levi’s GUESS, Radley, Sweaty Betty and Under Armour while dining brands include Wagamama, Zizzi, Five Guys, Pret a Manger, Caffe Nero, 200 Degrees and Knead Bakery.
Located just off Junction 9 of the M5, Cotswolds Designer Outlet sits right on Tewkesbury’s doorstep within easy reach of the historic and tourist attractions of the surrounding Cotswolds, a key inspiration in the design and landscaping of the new outlet scheme.
With the success of the Phase 1 letting established, Robert Hitchins and Multi-Realm are expecting to bring forward Phase 2 of Cotswolds Designer Outlet earlier than originally anticipated, which will extend the outlet provision by a further circa 50,000 sq ft.
Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger are an incredible addition to the line-up, and with more names to be shared soon, there is a hugely compelling story for the many retail brands who are already expressing interest in Phase 2. This project has been many years in the making, a long-term vision to bring forward an exceptional retail-led development that would provide an economic boost with huge jobs opportunities for the region, and a vibrant retail and dining offer at its heart.
Simon Tothill, Property & Development Director at Robert Hitchins Ltd
