On Monday, Alan Richards released a cover of his original hit, ‘Ring Out The Bells’ on BFM Radio. First released in 1995 – Ring Out The Bells was written when Alan’s sons’ school needed a new song for their Christmas concert.

What started as a small-scale project, became a national fundraiser; Featuring over 20,000 school children, being heard in theatres and schools throughout the UK.

Worldwide renowned producer David Mackay (Cliff Richard, Cilla Black, New Seekers etc) joined Alan to record the track with ten year old India Simpson and Worcestershire singer Wendi Black being joined by international singers Lorraine Crosby and John Parr.
