Young Freddie has recently been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) just three months after losing his mum to breast cancer.
Emma, Freddie’s mum, wrote a blog (Boobs Behaving Badly) about her journey through her treatment which helped many people. Since his own diagnosis, Freddie decided that he wanted to do the same.
Freddie’s Dad Jamie Gittins spoke to Your Herefordshire and said:
“We decided to do it (The Blog) as a family (Freddie, Noah and Jamie) and to use it as a form of therapy for us and to hopefully let people know what it is like for us going through this.
“If we can help people like Emma did, we’ll be delighted to share our journey.
“Please go over to Freddie’s page, like and share it so that we can reach as many people as possible.”

It would mean an awful lot to the family, especially this weekend, with Freddie in hospital after picking up a viral infection, something which is common when people are undergoing chemotherapy.
