“Quite a week – lots of brushing with the arm of the law this week!
Tuesday saw me in a meeting with Mr.John Campion, the Police and Crime commisioner for West Mercia…
…followed by a cup of tea with His Honour Judge Mr James Burbidge at Worcester Crown Court…
Wednesday was a long chat with The West Mercia Rape and Abuse Crisis Centre – here in Hereford. (Sadly, there’s a definite need for this service in the county.)
Thursday was a trip to HMP Longlartin. This is a Category A prison – for very serious, and infamous, offenders. Many of these will serve *real* life sentences. The Governor was most welcoming and it was a privilege to be able to see behind those walls.
Finishing off today with a meeting with Superintendent Helen Wain here at Hereford Police Station… for our two monthly catch up.
So!! Quite a week. 😵💫.. and I can assure you… all these people have the hands VERY FULL!”
