After over 100 days….. The Barber Shop in Hereford is finally allowed to re-open!

The government announced last month that barbers and hairdressers could re-open from 4th July, with some restrictions and major changes.

One of the major changes at The Barber Shop is that they are now having to offer appointments online through a booking system called Nearcut, using the link https://thebarbershophereford.nearcut.com

However if you don’t have the internet you can still book an appointment by calling their new number – 07888429679. For the first week you can arrive at the shop, where you will be met at the shop door and booked in manually.

In line with COVID-19 government guidelines, the team are going to be strict with safety. Once you have an appointment in place, the team are asking if you could please turn up on time and especially not early. On arrival you will be met and welcomed by a member of the team who will then check your temperature and a face mask provided for you.

You will be asked to wash your hands and then you will be taken to your chair. A new gown will used for each customer.
The team won’t quite look the same as you remember either. They will all be wearing a face shield, a disposable apron and gloves.

Please be rest assured that all cutting equipment and workstations will be sterilised after each customer.

The team know this is going to be a very different experience for everyone over the next few months with the procedures in place but if everyone sticks together with this hopefully things can go back to normal as soon as possible.
