Local rapper Kingsley Otieno is hoping to make waves in the rapping world when he releases his first single on Saturday (11th March).

Kingsley, who lives in Hereford and attended both St Mary’s High School and Whitecross High School is beginning to make a name of himself on Instagram with people from Herefordshire and beyond recognising his talent.

Kingsley, who is 18-years-old, has studied to be a plumber by also works with his Dad at Tys Barbers near Hereford Butter Market.

It was the death of a close friend called Archie who he had known since primary school that really inspired Kingsley to kick on and create music.

Kingsley told Your Herefordshire:

“My friend Archie passed away in the summer and the one thing that has kept me going really and inspired since then is to create music.”
