Liam Herbert is currently taking part in an incredible 33 hour long cycle and run, in memory of his cousin Billy who sadly took his own life in October 2023.

Liam has been running and cycling all night, and at around 7am was near Exeter in Devon.

He has raised more than £4,000 for charity already!

Liam’s story:

“Last October, my cousin Billy tragically took his own life at the age of 33. Billy was full of life, warmth, and humor, but behind that smile was a silent battle that too many people face alone.

“To honor his memory and raise awareness around the severity of mental health, I will be running and cycling for 33 hours straight — one hour for every year of Billy’s life.

“This journey is not just about the miles but about shining a light on the silent struggles so many endure.

“Every step I take and every hour I ride will be for Billy and for the countless others fighting in the shadows.

“All funds raised will be donated to The Cart Shed in Hereford, a charity Billy was hoping to get involved with.

“They provide essential mental health support and create a safe space for people to heal, connect, and grow.

“I believe this is a cause Billy would be proud of, and with your support, we can help others find the hope and strength they need.

“Let’s break the stigma, support mental health, and make sure no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

“Thank you for being part of this journey with me.”
