Hereford Cathedral is home to some of the most historic gardens in the county. Once again, they are pleased to offer Garden Tours this summer to showcase areas of the Cathedral’s grounds which are mostly private.

Next tour date – 17th May.

The historic Chapter House Garden nestles amongst medieval ruins while the historic College of the Vicars Choral, Cloister and Chapter gardens illustrate pre-Reformation social and culinary lifestyles.

Spring bulbs carpet lawns under ancient trees in the majestic Bishop’s Palace Garden and roses fill the air with the scent of summer in the secluded College Garden.

Garden tours run at 2pm on selected Wednesday’s & Saturday’s and last between 60 – 90 minutes.

Tickets cost £7.50 and can be bought in advance on the website by proceeding below, or on the day from the Cathedral Shop. Tickets are non-refundable.

You will receive a booking confirmation email which will act as your ticket, please bring the email with you on the day.

If you have any queries regarding your visit, please email visits@herefordcathedral.org or telephone 01432 374 202.
