The React Trampoline Club is moving to an exciting new venue, just off Grandstand Road at the old Gelpack site in Hereford. The club has been based at the Whitecross High School and Specialised Sports College on Three Elms Road for the last 14 years! ¬†The new venue will be called React Club CIC and is expanding to provide not only¬†Trampolining¬†but Full Artistic Gymnastics, DMT, Tumbling, Acro Gymnastics, Cheerleading and much more. ¬†The clubs ethos of true inclusivity, fun for all and professional, passionate coaching makes React a ‚Äėunique‚Äô club in Herefordshire.

Moving to their own building will give them the opportunity to cater for everyone‚Äôs needs whether recreationally, competitive, special needs or disabled.  The new venue will be able to host local, regional and national competitions putting Hereford firmly on the map and saving gymnasts having to travel many hours to represent in their disciplines.

REACT will provide first class competition grade equipment and will initially cater for members with four trampolines (upgrading to six), oversized Competition Sprung Floor not available anywhere else in Herefordshire, competitiveTumble and Vault apparatus, Competitive Asymmetric Bars, Competition level Beam, all within a safe and well lit venue.Parents will be encouraged to view their children’s sessions via the purpose built viewing gallery providing transparent coaching sessions.   React will be offering professional and passionate coaches to run the sessions overseen by Richard Crane, Jim Maitland & Bethany Maitland.  Richard has over 30 years experience coaching and has developed gymnasts to British Champion status many times; Jim has over 15 years as an artistic head coach and was key in Hereford’s gymnastic development programme and competitive squads and Beth who has been a Regional Champion and National representative and now a highly respected and professional coach.

The club follows strict guidelines with ethics of teaching and adheres to the British Gymnastics code of Practice.

The coaching team at React pride themselves on building a supportive and professional Gymnastic & Trampoline club with excellent trust between the members and the React coaching staff. They also encourage parental participation that makes for an excellent family fun environment. Members are limited to each session to allow for excellent coaching time, which is particularly great for younger members! React are a competitive club and where individual ability allows, entry into regional and national competitions is encouraged and supported but as long as members are enjoying themselves they feel that React is a success. The club is open to all ages from 18 month – Adult and welcomes enquiries from new members.

Stefan from Your Herefordshire went to take a look at the new venue and was impressed by what he saw. He said, ‚ÄúWhat React offer is fantastic for the local community. Just by meeting Richard for a short while, I could tell that the passion he and his team have must be hugely inspiring to members at React. I can‚Äôt wait to see the centre when all the work has been completed. This place will be buzzing when things return to normal!‚ÄĚ

Richard from React said:  “This new project has been a dream of mine for many years and made possible by the support of all the members, families and local businesses who recognise the need in Herefordshire.  To be able to provide a true, fully inclusive centre of excellence for everyone in Herefordshire, driven by passionate and professionalcoaches will be amazing for everyone involved.  When Jim and Beth agreed to be part of this momentous project I knew that we were building something very special!  With all of our current amazing coaching staff and support team, we know that every child will obtain the best in terms of development and support.  We welcome anyone wishing to be part of the club and are currently registering interest via our contact page on our website for when restrictions are lifted and we can open our centre: “
