Broadlands Primary School, Withington Primary School and Aylestone High School have all marked National Day of Reflection, remember the 125,000 + people that have sadly lost their lives in the past year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Robert Kay (Deputy Head Primary) spoke to Your Herefordshire and said:
“We recognise that this has been a difficult year for our community and so we felt that Marie Curie’s national day of reflection was a good way to mark this. As well as participating in the minute’s silence, the children also took part in a range of PSHE activities, many of which focussed on how we have worked together to overcome the challenges our community has faced.”
