Dunelm in Hereford has teamed up with Newstead Nursing Home to help bring festive cheer to residents this Christmas.
Dunelm’s Tree of Joy has been relocated to the front of store in Hereford, where you can collect your Click & Collect orders during the lockdown in England. This has been done so that it is easier for you to choose a tag for someone in need this Christmas. The Delivering Joy Campaign is a way that Dunelm can get everyone to have something to look forward to and make them smile over the Christmas period. The campaign is especially aimed at supporting vulnerable members of the community who may not get chance to see a loved one over the next few months due to COVID-19.
So far Dunelm have committed to supporting Newstead Nursing Home. With travel restrictions, you can either take a tag from store when you get your Click & Collect order or message the Facebook group linked below and they can send you one.
You then fill a shoebox full of goodies and give the shoebox to the store before the 11th December so that they can send them in time for Christmas. You don’t need to gift wrap the shoebox as ‘Dunelfs’ will sanitise and wrap them for you.
If you don’t want a tag, but would still like to donate, they will have a trolley by the tree for donations. Some ideas for the residents at the Newstead Nursing Home are, slipper/bed socks, blankets, biscuits and chocolate.
