To many of us, the thought of running just one marathon has us sweating whilst sitting down, but to John, that simply isn’t testing enough.
John Clark is currently running 48 marathons, in 48 days, across 48 counties (including Herefordshire) to help fight Child Food Poverty. Yesterday he was in Herefordshire and was joined by a team from the Hereford Couriers Running Club. (Photos below).
Couriers Chris Cleary, Ben Skinner and Ryan Lawrence along with Peter Kovas of Hereford Triathlon Club joined John for the whole distance with Couriers Sheryl Evans (20miles) & Jon Edwards (10miles) all helping him along.
48 marathons, in 48 days across the 48 counties in England.
The aim is simple, to raise awareness of the ongoing and escalating issue of Child Food Poverty in the UK and of the Miles4Meals Initiative.
With 8.4 million people living in food crisis, together we can make a difference.
Please help us with your own events to raise awareness and much needed funding to help ensure no child goes to bed hungry.
50% will go directly to The Trussell Trust and 50% to Miles4Meals.
