During the month of February 2021 students from the Herefordshire and Ludlow College Public Service Course are going to travel the distance of 9,400 miles which is Hereford to Mount Everest and back!.
Students can walk, run, cycle, swim, paddle, just as long it’s under their own power!
Students will record their daily efforts as individuals with the goal of all students efforts reaching the distance goal!
The students are raising money for West Mercia Search and Rescue, a local charity to Herefordshire as well as Shropshire and Worcestershire. The Team supports West Mercia Police, Hereford and Worcester Fire Service, Shropshire Fire Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service in the search for highly vulnerable missing people.
This month long fundraiser is a physical and mental challenge to all involved, please support them as they wish to support such a valuable service to our community.
