Herefordshire Council’s Talk Community programme is free for all school aged children (reception to Year 11), who are eligible for benefit related free school meals.
There’s a fantastic range of exciting indoor and outdoor activities to choose from.
There will also be a healthy meal on offer at every session attended, so no need to bring a packed lunch.
Check if you’re eligible
If your child is school aged 5 to 16 (reception to Year 11) and eligible for benefit related free school meals, they’ll be able to attend these activities. If you are not sure, please contact your child’s school to check.
If you’re not eligible for Free School Meals
The Department for Education provide a small amount of funding for children who aren’t eligible to free school meals, however, if you feel you child would benefit from accessing the programme please speak to your child’s school or external agency to discuss.
Families are unable to refer themselves, they need to be referred by a school or supporting external agency. Please note, these referred spaces are limited.
