We visited Hereford’s new pasta restaurant on Friday evening and we were very impressed with the quality of the food and the welcome we received.
After months of sleepless nights for the team behind Mea Via, the doors opened on Thursday and Friday for people to try out the menu ahead of its full opening today (Saturday 3rd May).
Later today they’ll throw the doors wide from the first Pasta to the last Negroni and welcome everyone in. Although, we understand its close to being fully booked already tonight, showing how popular this restaurant is likely to be.
Many of you will know Mea Via from Hereford Butter Market, and this progression from a market stall, to a restaurant on Bridge Street in Hereford, feels like such a lovely success story for a team that includes some of the most welcoming people you’re likely to meet.
There are delicious breads and many other dishes on the anti-pasti menu and the main menu that is full of hand-made pasta is just delightful. The food is so flavoursome and the surroundings are modern and fresh, with it clear to see that a lot of work has gone into making this restaurant perfect.
If the main menu isn’t enough to fill your appetite, they have a superb selection of desserts that include Tiramisu, Dark Chocolate Mousse and also the fabulous Cannolo that reminded us of a Kinder Bueno.
Our advice would be, to check your diaries and organise a visit to Mea Via with friends or family. You won’t regret it!
