Award winning local home care company, Home Instead Hereford, are celebrating the appointment of Deb Evans, a local lady whose personal experience with home care has inspired her to join the Home Instead team.
It was after Home Instead cared for her grandmother, that Deb, who is a nurse, saw first-hand the level of care provided.
She commented: “Home Instead cared for my grandmother June, from June 2021 to September 2022, whilst she was living with Dementia. It only took a phone call for them to understand exactly what she needed, being a nurse myself, this gave me a huge sense of assurance.”
Deb continued: “Home Instead did a fantastic job caring for my grandmother and supporting us as her family too. This first-hand experience of Home Instead made it a really appealing organisation to be part of and joining their ‘Healthcare at Home’ team meant I could use all the skills I already have as a nurse, but within the homes of my clients where they are more comfortable, as opposed to a hospital environment.”
