Leading agricultural supplier StowAg is set to open its fourth retail store and will be marking the occasion with a week of celebrations and events for the local farming community.
The store, located on the A4103 in Herefordshire, will officially open its doors on Wednesday, October 1, and aims to be a valuable resource for Herefordshire farmers, offering a comprehensive range of products, from animal health and nutrition to fencing, tools, and farming equipment.
To celebrate the launch, StowAg is hosting an Opening Week from October 1st to October 10th, which will feature exclusive in-store deals, and a different competition each day with prizes from top suppliers.
StowAg’s commitment to the local community is central to the new store. The company will also host We Are Farming Minds, a local mental health charity, in the store on opening day, with daily competitions acting as a fundraiser for the organisation throughout the week.
The Herefordshire branch will be staffed by a team of experienced professionals with deep roots in the agricultural sector.
Michael Hall, the new Store Manager, says his team will be dedicated to serving the local community.
“I’m so proud to be opening our fourth StowAg store here in Herefordshire,” says Hall. “Our store team is made up of Animal Medicines Advisors and colleagues with strong farming experience, all ready to support our local customers with the products they need and a delivery service that’s quick and reliable.”
The new store’s team also includes Herefordshire & Worcestershire Sales Representative, Stu Davies, who brings a lifetime of local farming experience to his role. He says: “Herefordshire has always been home for me. I grew up on a local farm with cattle and pigs, so farming in this area has been part of my life from the start.
“It feels great to be bringing trusted farm supplies and fencing into the area, and I’m proud of the team we’ve built for this new store. They bring a huge amount of knowledge and experience, and I know local farmers will value the support we can give.”
The new StowAg Herefordshire store is located on the A4103, midway between Hereford, Ledbury and Bromyard.
