A Herefordshire business has shared its immense pride after an employee was named as JTL Regional Electrical Award Winner for the Western Region.

Goodridge Electrical Contractors are a local company based in Cradley, Herefordshire. As a small business, they are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of one of their employees.

Stephen Goodridge, Managing Director at Goodridge Electrical Contractors told Your Herefordshire:

“Today, we are excited to announce that Amy, one of our exceptional team members, has been named one of two JTL Regional Electrical Award Winners for our Western Region.

“Amy has been with us since the start of her journey and has worked hard to achieve this prestigious recognition. 

“JTL Regional Winners are chosen based on their exceptional performance during their apprenticeship programme. 

“Amy exceeded expectations in the Building Services Engineering sector, demonstrated commitment to personal development and progression, and displayed inspirational qualities throughout her apprenticeship.

“As a Regional Winner, Amy will receive a prize of £100 and an engraved glass trophy. She will also automatically qualify as a finalist for the JTL National Awards 2023, which will take place at the Victory Services Club in London on 28th June.

“Neil Hammersley, Learner Assessment Manager for JTL’s Western Region, along with Oliver Schofield, Amy’s Training Officer, will present her with the engraved glass trophy at her workplace in April.

“We are proud to have Amy as part of our team and are thrilled to see her hard work and dedication recognised in this way.”
