A decision on whether the Aldi store in Hereford will be allowed to extend its opening hours is due soon, with the consultation on the proposals ending today.

Aldi submitted the licencing application to Herefordshire Council last month, in the hope of extending its opening hours at its Hereford store.

The company details that it wishes to extend its opening hours and the hours that it is allowed to sell alcohol to 6am – midnight. Sunday opening hours are expected to remain unaffected due to the rules over Sunday trading.

The stores current opening hours are 8am-10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-4pm on a Sunday.
