Your Herefordshire broke the news last week that Toys R Us are planning to open a store in Hereford city centre.
The store will be located inside WHSmith in High Town, as part of a partnership between the two companies.
A number of WHSmith stores already sell Toys R Us products in their stores, including the store in Cwmbran.
WHSmith has announced the opening of 30 more Toys R Us shop-in-shops by the end of its financial year in August. These include the plans for Hereford.
A spokesperson for Toys R Us said:
“The Toys R Us shops in WHSmith will feature a curated and focused range of toy products that will be refreshed and updated throughout the season.”
“The Toys”R”Us shop-in-shops will reflect the high street competitive set and will not necessarily match Toys”R”Us online pricing.”
The opening hours are likely to mirror the current opening hours of WHSmith, which in Hereford are currently 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-4pm on a Sunday.
