There is shock this morning after a Hereford business announced its sudden closure.
Aroma de Portugal announced its closure on social media with a post:
Closure of Aroma Portugal.
“Dear customers and friends.
“It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that the Aroma de Portugal will close its doors for reasons of greater force.
“This decision wasn’t an easy one, but right now, my family needs me — especially my son, who is going through a tough time and needs my unconditional support.
“I want to give a big thank you to everyone who was part of this almost 10 month journey.
“Every conversation, every smile, every visit to our coffee shop will stay forever in my memory.
“Tomorrow, it will be our last lunch, and I will have the pleasure of serving Transmontana Feijoada, accompanied by wines, beers and some products that will be available for sale.
“I invite you to pass by the Aroma de Portugal, for a farewell with a hug, one last meal and a sincere “thank you”.
“I’m not going far — I’ll be here in Hereford with a heart full of memories made with you.
“Forever, with gratefulness.”
